How to optimize storage for irregular solar panel pallets and long aluminum profiles?
Working on a solution together
Natec, a leading wholesaler of solar products, sought efficient and flexible storage systems for their facilities in Den Bosch and Veghel.
In Den Bosch, we installed mobile pallet racking, providing 9,520 pallet spaces and maximizing space utilization.
In Veghel, we implemented cantilever racking with 882 cantilever arms and pallet racking with a total capacity of 16,564 pallet spaces, specifically designed for long goods. The cantilever arms can support up to 500 kg per arm, ensuring safe storage for heavy loads.
The result
With the new storage systems, Natec now has the capacity and flexibility to grow and optimize its logistics processes. Whether it’s solar panels, inverters, batteries or installation materials, everything now has a dedicated, secure place in their warehouses.
About Natec
Since its founding in 2004, Natec has grown from a single 20,000 m² warehouse to two fully equipped locations in Den Bosch and Veghel. As a leading wholesaler, they supply installation companies with a comprehensive range of solar products, from solar panels to installation materials.
The logistics concept and racking system selection were developed and managed by consultancy firm Eilogic at Natec’s request. Our partner MEGA Magazijninrichting supplied and installed the undercarriages and floor rails on which our pallet racking was placed.
