Drive-in racking

Our drive-in racking systems are the perfect solution for storing large quantities of identical palletized goods. In this system, pallets are placed in deep lanes, which also serve as the path for forklifts. This ensures optimal use of available space. Unlike conventional pallet racking, not every pallet position is directly accessible by the forklift.

Operation

Drive-in racking systems are operated by forklifts and warehouse staff who drive into the racks to store and move pallets. Accessing a specific pallet often requires removing other pallets using a Last In, First Out (LIFO) method.

Speed and efficiency

Drive-in racking systems increase storage capacity but usually reduce speed.

Storage capacity

Drive-in racking systems provide maximum utilization of storage space, as aisles in this system can be minimized.

Flexibility

Drive-in racking systems are less adaptable to changes in the warehouse or product range, though the aisles can be easily expanded.
