NEDCON has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal, placing the company among the top 15% of all assessed companies worldwide. This is a great recognition of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis is a globally recognized assessment platform that evaluates organizations on their sustainability performance. The assessment focuses on four key themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
The assessment results in a score that reflects how an organization performs across these themes.
Why did we do this?
This assessment provides insight into NEDCON’s performance in sustainability and responsible business practices. It enables us to offer customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders transparency regarding our sustainability efforts and helps strengthen collaboration throughout the supply chain.
In addition, the assessment provides valuable insights for our own organization. It helps us identify both our strengths and areas for improvement. The results also support the further development of our ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) policy, enabling us to better meet customer expectations, contribute to more sustainable business operations, and prepare for future regulations and legislation.
How did we score?
NEDCON achieved an overall score of 75 out of 100 points. This places us among the top 12% of all assessed companies worldwide (88th percentile) over the past twelve months.
It is an achievement we are proud of as an organization and one that would not have been possible without the commitment and contributions of colleagues from various departments across NEDCON.
