Seamless storage system for clothing designer
Working on a solution together
Roy Robson, a designer of men’s fashion, had specific requirements for their new warehouse in Lüneburg: seamless, chrome-plated steel tubes over which clothing hangers glide effortlessly.
NEDCON designed a system of 13.5 kilometers of custom chrome-plated steel tubes. With an innovative coupling plate, the tubes provide a smooth transition between the components. A test setup was built in the Innovation Centre, where Roy Robson personally approved the solution.
The tubes are designed so that seams are virtually invisible, allowing clothing hangers to glide smoothly across the tubes.

The warehouse includes 5,000 m² of mesh, 10,000 m² of chipboard and specially chrome-plated steel for a robust setup.
A storage system that meets all the demands of Roy Robson. Employees can now easily move dozens of clothing hangers at once without any interruptions. The warehouse combines efficiency and precision over an area of 90 by 90 meters.
