How to design a warehouse for a fast, optimal supply chain?
Working on a solution together
NEDCON developed and installed two mezzanine floors with shelving, specifically designed to carry out storage activities efficiently and safely. The project involved the development of a unique, 50% water-permeable shelf according to the VDS guidelines. Through close collaboration with Hermes and extensive testing in our Test Department, we implemented a solution that provides optimal safety and flexibility.

The result
Hermes now has a future-proof warehouse that seamlessly integrates with their transportation network. The design supports fast order processing and returns handling, while ensuring employees can work safely and efficiently. This solution allows Hermes to continue expanding its fulfillment activities.
"In NEDCON's Test Department, the special 50% water-permeable shelf was developed. We are pleased that NEDCON fully supported us in achieving the required safety."
