All NEDCON products more than meet the applicable European and local standards for safety and robustness. At NEDCON, safety is a high priority. In your warehouse, your workers must be able to work safely.
NEDCON sets the standard itself. We play a leading role when it comes to the development and revision of the European EN standards and FEM standards for rack structures. Because the general design rules for steel structures in buildings are not directly applicable to rack structures, these new standards are desperately needed. The standards need to correspond better with the requirements for safe rack building in the warehouses of today.
Our components, structures and/or operations meet the following standards:
EN 15512 – requirements regarding the design of a structure
EN 15620 – requirements for tolerances, deformations and free spaces
EN 15629 - design specifications
EN 15635 – user standard
FEM 10.2.06 – European guideline for the safety of shelving units
FEM 10.2.07 – European guideline for the safety of drive-in racks
We perform our own tests at our NEDCON Test Department to determine whether we meet these standards. We have our testing equipment and test evaluation checked and validated according to the standard by independent partners:
Technical University of Dortmund
Technical University of Dortmund Brno
Buro dr. Möll Darmstadt
