Flow racks

For order picking involving small packages with high turnover, flow racks have the advantage that they make buffers possible for the pick location. As soon as you empty a container or remove a box, the next one will roll to the front. This way, the order pickers can continue their work without interruption. NEDCON has added a few more advantages.

Flow racks use gravity: the boxes and packages roll down a slight slope one by one. Here, NEDCON has developed unique rollers. These are extra wide and are placed in a stronger profile. This means that fewer roller tracks are required and that these lines can handle a greater span - definitely up to 1.5 metres with loads of 25kg per box or container (60 cm deep). The result: an easy to assemble system with fewer components, that is also easy to adjust. For example, if you want to use different boxes or adjust the slope.

Easy to combine
The flow racks available from NEDCON make an excellent combination with pallet racks and shelving systems. NEDCON can also supply custom made flow racks for pallet goods with high turnover rates, adjusted according to pallet weight.
