Like a shin guard, the stiffener absorbs the impact when a forklift truck - easily weighing in at 4.5 tons - accidentally collides with a rack. The length and profile have been designed to ensure that the force of the collision is optimally distributed in the rack, thus minimising damage. The connection between the stiffener and the upright is equally ingenious: the bolt holes are integrated into the profile in such a way that they are almost impossible to tear or break. NEDCON stiffeners are easy to attach to all NEDCON uprights. They are supplied as standard in orange (RAL 2008), but other colors are available.
