Data processed/ Personal information When visiting this website, type and version of your browser, your operating system, the website from which you arrive, the pages of the website of NEDCON you access, the date and time of your access, your IP address, your Internet service provider, and other, similar data will be visible. NEDCON uses such data to be able to make the website accessible, to detect and resolve any technical problems, and to prevent and, if necessary, prosecute any misuse of the website. In addition, NEDCON uses such data in anonymous form (i.e., so that users cannot be identified), for statistical purposes and to improve the website. It is possible, in principle, to use our website without sharing your personal information. To the extent that personal information (for example name, address or e-mail address) is collected on our website, this always occurs as far as possible on a voluntary basis. Your information is never passed on without your express consent. We would like to point out that during data transfer on the Internet (for example, communication via e-mail) security problems could occur. It is impossible to completely protect data against access by third parties. Data processing takes place on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.
Cookies To make our offering user friendly, more effective and more secure, we make use of so-called cookies for some sections of our website. These are small text files that are saved on your computer and are stored by your browser. Cookies cannot cause damage to your com-puter and do not contain viruses.
Most of the cookies that we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically de-leted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website. You can configure your browser so that you will receive a message whenever you receive cookies or that you must give your permission for every cookie, you can exclude the acceptance of cookies in specific cases or, more generally, and you can activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing your browser. Please keep in mind that you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website if you deactivate cookies.
Server log files The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files that your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
type and version of browser
operating system used
host name of the computer that provides access
time of the server request
This data cannot be linked to specific persons. This data will not be combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data at a later time if we become aware of specif-ic evidence with regard to illegal use.
Contact form If you send us questions via the contact form, the data from the request form, including the contact information you have provided, will be stored for handling the request and for further questions. We will not pass on this data without your permission.
External links In order to offer you a comprehensive service, we refer on our own site to other websites. We explicitly emphasize that our employees or other persons who are involved with this web-site, have absolutely no influence on the style and content of the linked pages.
Plug-ins (videos, buttons etc.) On our website we use so-called plug-ins as well as links to websites of external providers (buttons for social media, videos, web-players). When doing this no personal data is collected, processed or used.
The external providers are:
Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA)
YouTube (Google Inc. (“Google”), as YouTube operator Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA)
Xing (XING SE, Dammtorstraße 30, 20354 Hamburg, Germany)
LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Limited, 77 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland)
The so-called plug-ins are programme extensions that are integrated into our website and which serve as interfaces for external providers. The plug-ins used on our websites are implemented with the help of a two-step solution: our plug-ins are initially deactivated and make no contact with the servers on the platforms of the external providers. They only become active and make a connection between your device and the associated network platform of the external provider when you click on the but-tons or images (pictures, diagrams, etc.). Subsequently you can activate the function of the plug-in with a second click (share web content, play videos, start music player). You can rec-ognize the plug-ins by the logo of the external providers. By activating the plug-ins, the operators of the network platforms (external providers) receive at least information about:
the IP address of your device
your visit to the NEDCON website
If you are logged into your account with the external provider at the time that you activate the plug-in, the external provider can link your visit to our website to your user account.
