That’s why we encourage our colleagues to pursue personal and professional development, just like Project Engineer Ersin Usma, who is currently earning his part-time associate degree in technical business administration at HAN University of Applied Sciences.
Ersin has been with NEDCON since 2021. After completing his vocational training in mechanical engineering at Rijn IJssel in Arnhem, he began working elsewhere as a Service Technician. Not long after, he joined the NEDCON-team. Starting as an Engineer, he quickly advanced to Senior Engineer, and in March 2024, he was promoted to Project Engineer.
How processes, technologies, and business operations intersect
As a Project Engineer, Ersin focuses on project designs and supports the implementation of Creo Parametric (3D software). Although his studies have just begun, he’s already noticing the benefits: “The program gives me a new perspective on how we work at NEDCON. I’m learning to analyze our strategies and processes, which helps me contribute more effectively to improvements.”
Ersin also hopes to strengthen his projectmanagement skills, adding to the technical expertise he already brings to the table: “This program helps me grow within NEDCON and gives me a better understanding of the bigger picture in business operations.”
Building on growth
Balancing work and study can be challenging, but Ersin values the support he receives: “It’s great that NEDCON prioritizes learning and development. The flexibility I get from my colleagues really helps me stay on track. The company understands the importance of investing in its employees.”
